Mario's is a family-owned Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Forked River, open for over thirty years. Every dish is made fresh to order, and every sauce and soup starts from scratch.
Dinners come out generous: veal, chicken and seafood plates, homemade pasta, and pizza and subs for a quicker night. Anna's homemade desserts finish the meal.
Bring your own bottle and we'll bring the glasses and ice and set you up. Everyone who works here is treated like family, and so are you.

The food is always amazing here. The portion sizes are gigantic and the service is always very friendly and prompt. The only reason I gave atmosphere 4 stars instead of five it's because it can get really loud in there. However, that's a small price to pay for such amazing food and service. I will absolutely keep going back there again and again.

We were a party of 9, celebrating a birthday, called ahead to ask about bringing a cake, they said yes, cake was handed off to our server, she very graciously accepted, when dinner was over, she brought out with lit candles. Our server was excellent! I’m sorry I didn’t hear her name, young woman, long dark hair.

We were recommended to come here multiple times by multiple people . So glad we finally made it last week we dined in with our two young kids and ordered pizza , wings and garlic knots ! We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was hands down delicious! Not to mention the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming , the staff is kind , hardworking and a pleasure! They were busy for a Wednesday night and handled it in such stride. We were sat quickly and served accordingly. We enjoyed the food so much a week later today we ordered to go the exact same order and it tasted just as delicious! So glad we tried this gem and clearly we will be continuing to order from here ! Looking forward to another dine in experience and try different dishes probably next week !
